Bruschetta Pasta Recipe
I am just going to get right down to it. No one wants the history behind this recipe anyways.
Ingredients:
- Mighty Spark Ground Chicken, Bruschetta flavored (I got it at Target)
- Noods (your choice) but I prefer bowtie
- Two Tomatoes
- Fresh Basil, the little like 2 oz. pack you can get at like any grocery store
- Fresh Mozzarella (You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to spend the extra money on it, but I love fresh mozzarella so I always suggest it. But I’m sure shredded would work as well.)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Ground your meat.
- Cook your noodles.
- Cut your tomatoes in chunks.
- Slice your basil.
- Combine your tomatoes and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine your cooked noodles and meat. Top with the bruschetta and mozzarella.
- Enjoy.
I also baked a take and back baguette from Target and topped it with the extra bruschetta.
NOTE: If you have leftovers, I suggest keeping the meat and noodle mixture separate from the bruschetta so you can rewarm it without warming the tomatoes.
I have seen other people do this recipe with baked chicken or crispy parmesan chicken, but when I saw this particular ground chicken at the store, I knew I wanted to try it. I didn’t think I would like the flavor of the chicken, but it was delicious.
Truthfully, I am trying to talk myself out of getting the ingredients again to make for next week again. That’s how good it was.
