Holiday Gift Guide 2024 – Woman-Owned, Black-Owned, LGBTQIA-Owned Businesses
If you are looking for gift ideas for basically anyone in your life, I have a several suggestions.
Even better, buying any of these items listed, or anything from these shops will help support a woman-owned company, a black-owned company, or an LGBTQA-owned company, which I think is so important any time of the year, but especially right now. Let’s take some of the money you could give to large corporations and support smaller companies and companies owned by people who have been or continue to be overlooked.
*** I didn’t use any affiliate links below. All of the profits will go directly to the business owners. Please shop small this holiday season. ***
Harlem Candle Co. – I think there are so many gorgeous candle scents from this company. They all sound so elegant and luxurious. This is perfect for someone who loves to light a candle, turn on some soft music, and just melt into their couch for the day.
Shop Five Nine – Meal Planner – I think this is such a practical gift that someone would be able to use over and over and, really, aren’t those the best kind of gifts?
Olive + June – I love the idea of either getting a few nail polishes or even picking out a few of the press on sets. This gift is perfect for anyone who either loves to have their nails done, or could use some time to pamper themselves if they don’t choose to do so very often. Give them the chance to do something nice and simple for themselves.
Mod + Jo – I have been seeing letter charm necklaces lately and I love these puffy ones from Mod + Jo. They even have a few different charms you could add to a necklace to curate a little cluster for someone.
Selah – Fragrance Oil – Seal is a local NE business and I have personally used their incense papers they used to sell. Their scents are so lovely and luxurious.
Jooel – Yara Earrings – I think these earrings are so precious. They are an organic looking hoop that will add a subtle little something to any outfit.
Tower 28 – I have used several Tower 28 products and I have loved every single one of them. I recommend their LipSoftie Lip Treatment, Rescue Spray, and the Line & Shine Lip Duo
Wax Buffalo – I have Wax Buffalo candles all over my house. They are such gorgeous scents and make the perfect gift. Personally, I love their Evergreen scent for this time of year (and actually any time of year…). I also think if you’re local to NE, you can gift someone a Candle Lab Experience, so they can go make their own candle.
Take Care Wellness – Pillow Spray: While I think a pillow spray is such a fun gift, there are so many products you could grab from Take Care Wellness.
Book and Reverie – Candle: Who needs a gift for a book lover?! This is so perfect. Just imagine them lighting their bookish-themed candle, and diving into their to be read book stack! So perfect!
Mollie Makes Store – Satin Pillowcases – Satin or silk pillowcases are something that I feel like people know they should have but don’t buy for themselves. This gift is so practical that you know the person will use it and love it.
Kikay – Earrings and Earring Holder – This shop has SO MANY fun, quirky and cool earring sets. I’m so in love with them all. I also think the Hangers are so perfect to display earrings.
A Jar of Pickles – Magnets: This is a gift for someone who has everything. These are cute and charming. Also, this shop has so many fun items.
Shop Five Nine – Stickers: I think gifting someone stickers that makes you think of them is so cute. And can be an easy stocking stuffer gift.
Solo Date Night – Card Game – This is perfect for anyone who is prioritizing themselves right now. Here’s the description from the website: “ok so the cards are color-coordinated by activity. please note that there are duplicates in the deck. for best results, shuffle the cards together and pick one whenever you’re ready for a date! k love u bye” Topics: “Treat Yo’ Self (Blue), Free Dates (Pink), Wellness-Related (Green), Regular Dates (Purple)”
3rd Eye View – Sunglasses – I think getting sunnies for a gift is always the best. There are so many fun pairs, but here are three I suggest: Figue, Axe, Covei, and Lucas
Pat McGrath Labs – Make up – I don’t think there’s one thing from Pat McGrath Labs that you could get that the receiver wouldn’t like. But if you’re just starting out, I think the eye shadow pallets are perfect or any of the lipsticks.
Good Quality Human – Hat – A lot of the products from Good Quality Human are so fun, but I love the Good Quality Human trucker hat. It’s simple and will add a little something to someone’s outfit. They come in several color ways.
