5 + Plus Size Friendly Fanny Packs
I swear fanny packs are becoming the new crossbody bag, and if you want to jump headfirst into owning a plus size friendly fanny pack, I have a few options for you.
A few weeks ago, I purchased a fanny pack from a pretty popular brand and I was super disappointed that it didn’t fit. I started looking around for brands that had long enough straps. I thought I would take the guess work out for you, so you can easily find a bag you’ll enjoy.
Here is what you’ll find in this blog post:
- Five+ fanny packs
- Strap extenders
- Things to look for in a fanny pack
Fanny Packs You’ll Love
The five listed below are four I personally have. The two UTO bags do not have straps long enough on their own, but I purchased a strap extender (listed below) and they work perfectly. The other two have straps long enough to go around my upper body. The first four bags listed come in several colors!
Zorfin Fanny Pack (Olive Green)
UTO Fanny Pack (Leopard Print)
UTO Fanny Pack (Checkered)
INICAT Fanny Pack (Brown)
ASOS DESIGN Fanny Pack (Light Green) – I have this in a pink color that is sold out.
The following bags I don’t own, but I thought were super cute. I don’t personally know if the strap will be long enough to fit around a plus size body, but below I have strap extenders listed, and if you know your body measurements (more on that below), you will be able to tell if it will fit you.

Strap Extenders
Because I refuse to not buy something I love if I can make it work for my body, I purchased a strap extender to fit the two UTO bags I purchased. Hot tip, though! Make sure the design of the clip matches the extender you purchase. I am linking the few I felt were pretty common below.
What to look for in a fanny pack
Before you start looking, know I personally wear my bag around my upper body. So the ones I listed are all large enough for that style. Also, measure your waist to make sure the straps are large enough for you. Honestly, as a plus size person, the best thing I have ever done for myself is learned my measurements. It helps me while shopping so much.

I also want to make sure you know if your phone will fit in the bag. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it barely just fits in the two UTO bags. Make sure you look at the measurements.
